The Illinois Association of Code Enforcement has scheduled “Managing Distressed Properties” presented by Linda Pieczynski for its quarterly training seminar on September 9th 2009.

Linda is a longtime friend and no stranger to IACE her last program in September of 2006 (Overcrowding, Unsafe Structures, & Permits) was extremely well attended so register early.

Join us as Linda delves into ‘Managing Distressed Properties’. Topics to include: Origins of Foreclosure Disaster, Research Property Ownership, Research Corporation/LLC Information, Foreclosure Process, Applicable Building Codes, Gathering Evidence, Weed Liens/Special Assessments, Right of Entry & Administrative Search Warrants, Condemnation Proceedings and Demolition.

The meeting will be held at Elgin Community College, Business Conference Center located at 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, Illinois.

The program cost (including lunch) is thirty dollars ($30.00) for current IACE members. For non-members of IACE the program cost is forty dollars ($40.00). Members that are planning on attending must return the enclosed form on or before Friday, September 4, 2009. Registrations received after that date will be thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for members and forty-five dollars ($45.00) for non-members.
